Kat Randall

Kat is a lifelong movement practitioner with a background in a variety of sports athletics that she participated in from a young age while growing up in Southern California. She went on to play volleyball at a competitive collegiate level for a nationally ranked program in California and has spent over 15 years teaching and training in a number of sports and movement modalities. She brings a deep knowledge of alignment, injury prevention, and recovery to her yoga practice and also into her classes. Her focus lies on learning the nuances of teaching individuals and helping people to learn how to connect more deeply within themselves, their bodies, and their minds through intentional movement, breath, and asanas.

In 2019, Kat experienced her first 26/2 hot yoga class and since then has submersed herself deep in the healing journey of the self, of love, mindfulness, and wholehearted wellness. It was very quickly after her first hot yoga class she discovered that flowing through asanas builds strength and power not only in the body, but also in the mind; that creating a deep connection to the physical layer of being is a gateway to connecting to the self and understanding the true essence of one’s being.

Kat believes that the best gift that you can give yourself is stepping onto your mat and taking the time to be intentional with your heart; honoring your practice by meeting yourself exactly where you are at, and with gratitude and grace letting whatever needs to unfold, reveal, and soften in the right moments in time. Yoga is an opportunity to be kind to yourself which in turn radiates outwards to others. It is a celebration of the body, mind, and spirit coming together as one and the beautiful being of who you really are and who you were meant to be.
